went to dinner at AOC for my mom’s birthday! wanted to be able to drink some wine while rambling on about our lives. we sat on the second floor where it was cozy and had a rustic feel. what i loved about AOC was the flavorful dishes that were all well done! the quality ingredients and execution of the dishes were spot-on! we started off with the soppressata, root vegetables, mustard and burrata salad. i haven’t enjoyed vegetables this much… since ever! i could’ve eaten this all night and have been satisfied!! not pictured is the duck which i highly recommend as well!!


clams with sherry and garlic toast. slurp it up!


pancetta-wrapped figs, buttermilk ricotta, balsamic!! warm and crisp and just the right amount of sweet!


hangar steak with horseradish cream… heavenly.


arroz negro squid and saffron aïoli.. couldn’t stop from eating that rice.. and smiling with the ink all over hehe

pumpkin pot de creme! seriously BEST pumpkin dessert EVER! so light and packed with pumpkinygoodness but not overload. mmm. hit my holiday pumpkin cravings.
