everything here was simply delicioso! i came here for lunch with a few friends and left with a tingling palette and full stomach. their bread bowl was definitely full of variety and interesting to look at. the white sangria was light and refreshing.

for starters the black caviar ahi tuna tartar was rich, yet not overly creamy since they used creme fraiche and threw in some shiso leaves and potato chips.

my friend ordered the diver scallops which were presented on a bed of beluga lentils, salsify puree, & fuji apples. the portion was rather small but still tasty.

next, the faux filet steak was MEATY! perfectly cooked medium rare with herb butter that melted on top. yummm. on the side was a stack of steakhouse fries and grilled bone marrow (so rich, buttery, and fatty). aww yeah. i couldn’t finish my plate because it was meat overload for me. not fogo de chao meat overload status, but enough to meet my meat quota for the week.

since it was my birthday (came here in september) we ended with a peach and cream dessert! light and perfect way to end the hefty meal.

we ended lunch at ‘lette. aka paulette’s new name. located around the corner, full of fresh baked macarons that POP with flavor. oh ho ho. catch y’all on the flipside!
